NVQ Trained Fabricators
Advanced Aluminium is at the
forefront in the implementation of NVQ level 2 training and
assessment in aluminium for "The production of glass supporting
fabrications". In partnership with CTS of Norwich the NVQ level 2
course tailored to meet the specific training requirements of our
fabricators.
The assessment takes place over a
three month period starting in September 2011.
Advanced Aluminium is committed to
raising standards This commitment manifests itself in the level of
investment the company has made by offering training to all our
Fabricators. Fabricators are working hard to achieve this
qualification which will be, for some, their first formal
qualification.
Stuart Smith General Manager said
that "Customers have positively welcomed the introduction of the
NVQ training course " adding that the staff were working hard to
raise quality standards by adopting best working practices and a
right first time attitude.
The qualification is structured to
ensure that there is a high degree of flexibility in the
qualification, although there are common units in the mandatory
section of the qualification. The standard covers the most
important aspects of the job. This qualification is at level 2.
Candidates should require minimum supervision in undertaking the
job.
